The Evolution of the Philosophy of Industrial Technology Education of the United States of America Author: Charles Tzeli Kang

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the evolution of the philosoply of indudtrial technology education of the United states of America from 1870 to 1964. With the histonical research method, the researcher collected the related documents, read and evaluted the resources documents, involved in the related seminars and Conferenes, analyzed the resources information, synthesized and reported the results. The following issues were discussed in this study:
1.The leaders and their philosophy of the early stage.
2.The leaders and their philosophy of the Manual ars movement.
3.The leaders and their philosophy of the industrial arts movement.
4.The pholosohy of the period of transition.
5.The plilosohy of current educators.
Through the above discussion, thirteen couclusions were drawn.
