The Journal of National Taiwan Normal University is published by National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan. It is a strictly academic journal with a rigorous review system and writing guidelines. The journal aims to publish research papers in the fields of literature, history, language, religion, and philosophy, within the realm of humanities. It provides a platform for teachers and researchers from both domestic and international institutions to publish original research papers that have not been previously published.
The journal welcomes unpublished academic papers, including empirical research, theoretical explorations, topic discussions, and specific subject studies. However, translations, news articles, complete theses, and reports of continuing education studies will not be published.
The journal is published twice a year, with issues released in March and September. The regular and special paper around 15,000 to 20,000 words (Chinese) or 6,000 to 9,000 words (English), research commentary around 8,000 to 10,000 words (Chinese) or 4,000 to 6,000 words (English), book review around 3,000 to 5,000 words (Chinese) or 1,000 to 2,000 words (English) are all welcomed for consideration including the abstract, main content figures, legends, tables, footnotes, references and appendixes, etc. Submissions are accepted throughout the year and undergo a double-blind review process. If the discipline of a submitted paper does not match the domain or the thesis writing, such a paper will be rejected.
Manuscripts from full-time and part-time teachers (lecturers and above), researchers from research institutions (assistant researchers and above) or doctoral students are welcome.
