A Study of Upper Crust Temperature Variation by Fourier Series

Abstract:
An alternative mathematical method for solving the differential equation re-lating to the thermal state of the upper crust influenced by the climatic variation can be achieved by. employing the Fourier series method. The solution derived from this method is compatible to the analytical solution with a Laplace transform.
This method can broaden the scope of the solution of heat conduction equation and gives an explicit and complete interpretation.
